TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.GENERAL INFORMATION

These terms and conditions apply to private consumers' purchases of goods in Bungalow's (retail) web shop. You must approve and accept these terms and conditions to shop at www.bungalow.dk. The approval takes place upon completion and execution of your order. Persons under the age of 18 cannot shop in this web shop without the consent of a guardian.

Prices & delivery

All prices quoted for goods, delivery costs and other costs are inclusive taxes, VAT and duties.

Costs related to delivery, shipping or postage can vary and are added to each order. We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing and inventory.

 

Currency

Orders to customers resident in Denmark are settled in DKK and orders to customers resident abroad are settled in EUR (selected EU countries. See “Delivery & Shipping”).

 

  1. ORDERING

The online store is open 24 hours a day but may be closed due to maintenance. An order placed on a public holiday will be processed the following business day.

We deliver in Denmark and selected countries in the EU (see "Delivery & Shipping")

You must have legal right to use a credit card or other payment method for online purchases at www.bungalow.dk and guarantee that the information you provide us is correct and complete.

By placing an order on www.bungalow.dk, you make an offer to buy the item you have chosen, on the terms set out in the Terms and Conditions. Bungalow ApS is free to reject your offer to purchase the item or cancel an order, e.g. if your payment information is incorrect or cannot be verified, or if an unintentional error occurs on www.bungalow.dk such as price information errors or errors in inventory etc. We also reserve the right to reject or cancel an order if there is a suspicion of fraud or an illegal transaction.

We can only accept offers / bookings made on www.bungalow.dk. We do not process offers / orders placed in any other way, e.g., in e-mails, letters or faxes.

It is your responsibility to enter correct contact information when ordering. Before placing the order, you can change the information you have entered, including delivery and payment information. You also have the option to change the items or remove items from your shopping cart. The moment you click on "Approve and pay", you update the payment, and the receipt is displayed on your screen, and you are bound by your offer.

After completing the order, you will receive an automatically generated order confirmation, stating that we have received your order. This is not a final confirmation of the order. Once the order has been accepted and processed you will receive a final confirmation of your purchase as well as shipping information.

After the conclusion of the agreement, the rules on the right of withdrawal apply (see "Cancellation").

Purchase agreements on www.bungalow.dk are entered in Danish for purchases in DKK and in English for purchases in EUR.

 

3.PAYMENT

We accept the following means of payment:

Dankort, Visa / Dankort, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Apple Pay & MobilePay (only in Denmark)

 

CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION NUMBER (CVV))

If you pay by credit card, you will be asked to enter the card's check digits. You will find the three check digits on the back of your credit card, most often on the right side of the back of the credit card. The check digits are necessary for the payment to be completed and to maintain a high level of security. There may also be other similar safety precautions.

 

Payment procedure

When your item leaves our warehouse to be delivered, your payment will be withdrawn from the selected payment service.

 

4.DELIVERY & SHIPPING (DENMARK)

We will process your order as soon as possible. All our orders are processed in our warehouse in Denmark within 1-3 business days. Items will be delivered to the delivery address specified when ordering. Goods are delivered on all business days. Your item will be delivered 1-3 business days after ordering.

GLS delivery to parcel shop: 1-3 business days

GLS delivery to business address: 1-3 business days

 

Shipping prices Denmark

All orders from DKK 600/EUR 80 - are sent free of charge in Denmark

All orders under DKK 600/EUR 80 are charged DKK 39/EUR 5.2 for shipping in Denmark

 

Please note that during particularly busy periods, there may be a shortage of space in some parcel shops and that packages may therefore be delivered to someone other than the desired parcel shop.

 

GLS private address

The package must be acknowledged upon receipt. It does not necessarily have to be you who acknowledges. People at the delivery address (e.g., a family member, a friend, receptionist, etc.) can thus also acknowledge with binding effect on behalf of you. If no one is present at the delivery address when the parcel arrives, a notification is left stating that the parcel can be picked up the following day at the nearest delivery point. The shipment will typically be stored for a maximum of 14 days before the package is returned to us as undelivered. If your parcel can be delivered in your mailbox, the parcel courier can deliver the parcel there without obtaining a signature.

 

GLS parcel shop

If the delivery has been selected for a parcel shop, you will receive a message per. E-mail / text message when your shipment has been delivered to the selected parcel shop. The shipment is handed out on presentation of valid identification within the selected parcel shop's opening hours. The shipment will be stored for approx. 10 days before the package is returned to us as undelivered. Remember that you can track the delivery via e-mail T&T.

 

GLS company address

If the delivery is chosen for your company address / workplace the delivery takes place in the period between 8am- 4pm on all business days. Company address deliveries cover delivery to a public workplace, institution, school, etc. If no one is present at the delivery address, GLS will leave a notification with the package number and contact information to GLS, so that you can arrange a new delivery time. Remember that you can track the shipment via e-mail T&T.

 

Separate deliveries

If your order consists of several items, we reserve the right to make separate deliveries. Separate deliveries may be necessary if certain goods are delayed or not in stock at the time of ordering or if the goods in question are stocked and shipped from different addresses. Prior to the purchase, you will be informed that your order is subject to separate deliveries. You will not be charged additional delivery costs for separate deliveries.

Please note that you bear the risk of the item after delivery. If the packaging appears to be damaged, you should refuse to receive the item. If you want to complain about any errors and omissions, you must inform us immediately, please read more under "Claims”.

Track your order

Remember that you can track the shipment via the sent Track ’n’ Trace number by e-mail / text message.

 

4 A. DELIVERY & SHIPPING (ABROAD)

We will process your order as soon as possible. All our orders are processed in our warehouse in Denmark within 1-3 business days. Orders will be delivered to the delivery address specified when ordering. Goods are delivered on all business days. Your order will be delivered 2-7 business days after ordering. We deliver in the following selected countries within the EU.

 

Germany

GLS delivery to private address: 2-4 business days

All orders from EUR 125 are sent free of charge in Germany.

All orders below EUR 80 are charged EUR 10 - for shipping.

 

Belgium / Finland / France /The Netherlands / Italy / Luxembourg / Poland / Sweden / Austria

GLS delivery to a private address: 2-5 business days

All orders from EUR 125 are sent free of charge.

All orders below EUR 80 are charged EUR 12 for shipping.

 

Estonia / Ireland / Latvia / Lithuania / Portugal / Slovenia / Spain / Czech Republic

GLS delivery to a private address: 3-7 business days

All orders from EUR 125 are sent free of charge.

All orders below EUR 80 are charged EUR 15 for shipping.


5.
RETURNS

You are welcome to cancel your purchase and return the item within 30 days from the date you receive it. Returns are accepted only for items purchased directly from www.bungalow.dk.

 

How to return an item within EU:

1. Complete the enclosed return form.

2. You are responsible for the return shipping costs (GLS Busniess Shipping Rate)

    • Our return shipping fees vary depending on your country. Please find your zone and corresponding return rate below.

Zone 1 - € 12,00: (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain)

Zone 2 - € 18,00: (Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden)

Zone 3 - € 22,00: (Bulgaria, Finland, Ireland, Portugal)

 

Important

You are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packed, so it is not damaged during transport. We only accept returns sent via our GLS return portal.

 

REFUNDS (EU)

Once we receive your returned item at our warehouse, we will process the refund as quickly as possible and no later than within 30 days. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. We will refund the price of the purchased item, minus the return shipping costs (please see zone quotes above).

 

VALUE REDUCTIONS

You are liable only for any decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. If the item has lost value due to incorrect or excessive use, we may - based on an individual assessment- deduct an amount from the refund or refuse the refund entirely.

 

  1. COMPLAINTS (Defective or Incorrect Items)

    If your item is defective, faulty, or incorrect, please contact our customer service at info@bungalow.dk and attach a photo and a brief description of the issue. You will not be charged for return shipping in the case of a justified complaint or an error on our part. Once we have received the item and approved the complaint, we will refund the purchase price as well as the original delivery costs.

 

  1. OTHER CONDITIONS

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfil our obligations under these Terms if such delay or non-fulfilment is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes and lockouts, breakdown of communication or IT systems, or other extraordinary circumstances. Our obligations are suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

 

Personal Data

We treat your personal data confidentially. Please refer to our Personal Data Policy, which explains how we process the information you provide during the ordering process and your general use of www.bungalow.dk, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

 

Right of Appeal

If you have any questions or are dissatisfied with the item you purchased, please contact us at info@bungalow.dk and we will do our best to resolve the issue. If we are unable to reach a satisfactory solution, you may submit a complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board (www.forbrug.dk). Consumers residing in another EU country may also submit a complaint via the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, please state our email address: info@bungalow.dk.

 

Law & Jurisdiction

Any agreement entered into under these Terms is governed by Danish law. Any dispute arising in connection with our agreement, including matters regarding its existence or validity, must be brought before a competent court in Denmark.
